My client had a limited budget to remodel his house, and he knew that it wouldn’t have been beneficial to put it on the market without freshen it up at least a little bit. The kitchen was the area that needed more attention. He was surprised when I told him that in my opinion the cabinets didn’t need to be repainted, and that the only things that I would replace were not that expensive after all: laminate for the countertop, subway tiles for the backsplash and vinyl for the floor. The house sold immediately with multiple offers and for more than the asking price.

Staging tip: “Even a small remodeling is a very good investment, because it presents the house with a fresh and clean look that buyers always appreciate”.
