Home staging tip: Home staging is a trial and error kind of business. You move the furniture and accessories around until you find the right placement. Sometimes you start with an idea and then you finish with something completely different. This is what happened with the staging shown in the photo above. The initial idea was to place the sofa against the wall on the right, however, after we did it we realized that the wall on the left was going to be too empty. Since this was a pretty large room and we were working with a limited budget that didn’t allow us to use more furniture, we decided that placing the whole seating arrangement at an angle was the best solution to better balance this corner, that was directly facing the entry door, therefore needed to look welcoming and inviting.
