Home staging tip: Even though home staging involves a creative process where you have, let’s say, the “freedom” to select a certain color scheme, sometimes this freedom is limited by the architectural features of the property itself. Take this house for example, as you can see, there is a red brick fireplace in the living/dining room area, which was the reason why we decided to go with a brown/gray/red color scheme, where red is mainly used for the accessories such as art and pillows. So, before choosing a color scheme, look if the property has a structure (fireplace, wall, tiles, etc.) with a predominant color. If so, not only make sure to incorporate it into your color scheme, but also make sure that the other items used in the staging don’t clash with it.
