This condo sold in 36 hours for $50,000 over asking price

Home staging tip: It goes without saying that making the entryway of a property aesthetically appealing is an important factor of the so-called first impression. However, in this article, I’d like to talk about the entryway not from the home staging point of view but from the photography perspective, and particularly about the importance of including part of the entry door in the image that shows the foyer of a property. By doing so, the potential buyer starts experiencing first hand what it feels like to open the door and enter the property, besides having an initial idea of how the floorplan looks like. The above image, for example, clearly shows that this is the entryway of the condo, in fact, imagine the same photo without having the door depicted in it: you wouldn’t understand which part of the house this is. Not only that, but in this case the buyers will know right away that each time they will open the door, they will enjoy a beautiful view of the lake.
