My “gray saga” continues with a color that I love and always recommend to my clients: Sparrow AF-720 by Benjamin Moore. It is a super warm brownish gray with middle value. My client used it in her master bedroom (see photo above) and then decided to use it also in her family room since she totally fell in love with it. Another client of mine used it in her media room, while a friend of mine painted an accent wall in this fantastic color.
Sparrow is part of my “safe paint color collection” on Pinterest. It is neutral and very warm; its hue fluctuates between an elegant gray and a sophisticated brown, depending on the light. Provalo, ti piacera’ (try it, you’ll like it).

Is there some Oliver green in it
It does have some green in it, but it is very subtle. This color is mainly a very deep shade of brown.
Sparrow is an easy color to work with. I used it on a french chest in my kitchen to great subtle effect. I pairs well with Malibue Beige, a taupe color which is also subtle. Splashes of red, black, gold, blue even fuscia can excite the effect of these subtle background colors.
Thank you for sharing this, Dawn!
